Michael Ian Black has always been hilarious.  He has always been one of brilliant minds behind The State and Stella.  He has been in one of the funniest movies ever, "Wet Hot American Summer".  And he has been beamed into our homes weekly through "Best Week Ever" and "I Love the..." both on VH1.

Alas, Now Black is also a hilarious author.

This collection of completely unrelated essays is truly side splittingly funny.  The topics he chooses to cover in his writing are "Why I Want to Color My Penis Yellow with a Stay-Glo Magic Marker" and writing an open letter to "The First Girl I Fingered".

The endless sarcasm from Black does wear a little thin by book's end.  The 50 collected essays might have been a bit much, but 40 would have been perfect.
